Today I wanted to talk about Kouros, a brilliant Aromatic Fougère by Pierre Bourdon that was released in 1981, and is still pretty popular today.

Parfumo rating: 7.1/10
κοῦρος in Greek refers to Apollonian mythological and youthful male nude sculptures and the name couldn’t be more appropriate – Kouros is a raw and animalic, a musky beast of a perfume. It's a bit of an old-man's cologne that opens very green, but that dry down is so worth it. Smooth, soapy and powdery, yet sharp at the same time.
I really don’t understand why people hate this one, although it’s definitely not a mass pleaser. A clean and unique old-school manly smell that obviously stands the test of time. It does smell like urinal cake a bit, but not in a bad way, and the reason they put it into urinals is because it smells good.
Definitely worth trying out.
